What is SkinVive®?
SkinVive® is part of the Juvéderm® collection and uses hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring compound in the body, delivered in fine microdroplets beneath the skin's surface. Unlike traditional fillers that add volume or structure, SkinVive® works specifically to improve skin quality by attracting and retaining moisture deep within the tissue and stimulating collagen production.
The result is skin that feels softer, looks more radiant and has improved elasticity throughout. It is particularly well suited to dry, dull or acne-prone skin and to patients looking for a natural, refreshed appearance rather than visible volume change.

SkinVive VS. Dermal Fillers
While both SkinVive and dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid, they are designed for different goals.
SkinVive improves skin quality by deeply hydrating the skin to enhance smoothness, softness, and glow. It does not add volume or change facial structure.
Dermal Fillers restore lost volume and enhance facial contours in areas like the cheeks, lips, jawline, and chin for more structural support and definition.
SkinVive is best for improving hydration and overall skin radiance, while dermal fillers are used to contour, shape, and restore volume.
What to Expect
CONSULTATION
Your consultation is a chance for your provider to talk through whether SkinVive is the right fit for your goals and skin type. You'll leave with a clear sense of what to expect.
APPOINTMENT
A quick in-office injectable treatment with no significant downtime. Side effects are minimal and may include minor bumps, mild swelling, redness, bruising or tenderness, which typically resolve quickly.
RESULTS
Results are subtle at first with possible added plumpness after 14 days. Most patients enjoy their full glow at around four weeks as hydration builds in the skin.
LONGEVITY
Results typically last six to nine months. We recommend checking in at around five to six months to discuss a top-up before results begin to lapse.
